| Spanish vs Chinese? Alright, I got it down to two languages to choose from; Spanish or Chinese(Mandarin). Which one would be more useful/practical to learn? In employment area in general. (not because of the beauty of the language or culture)       |

| The Chinese are on the way to become the world´s No 1 economy. Over a billion people in China itself, not to count the Chinese minorities worldwide which are considerable in some countries. Therefore Chinese! Spanish would be of course much easier to learn. |

| if you're in the states then spanish. There are more and more spanish ppl moving into the US every year and most of them don't learn english. I'm not to sure if you're in the UK tho. I don't know if spanish is spoken more over there. |
