What programming language would benifit me most to learn?

I am looking for something that I can advance with after I get my BSCS, and I might use it for my graduation project. what should I read on?
I am looking for something more advanced than web apps
I can safely say that I have intermediate knowledge of both Java and c++ since I am a computer science major. should I advance in any or pick something that is more apply-able to nowadays applications?
