Can you help me with pronunciations of double vowels in Japanese?

Please note, my computer does not support kana or kanji. Also, I have a question about the vowel 'o'. Do you pronounce it like the 'o' in hot or the 'o' in cold? I hear some words pronounced using the o in hot (Onna) and some using the o in cold (Koi)

"O" is prounounced like the "o" in cold.

"Oo" or "ou" are both pronounced like "oh."
"Ei" or "ee" are both pronounced like the "ay" of "okay."
"Aa" is pronounced like "ah." (That's an easy one.)
"Uu" is pronounced like the "ou" in "you."
"Ii" is pronounced like the letter E in English.

The way Onna and Koi are pronounced has the same "o" sound, but because the "o" in koi is followed by a vowel, the vowel sounds might sound mixed to you. If you listen carefully, it's actually the same sound.

=] Hope I helped.
