Languages English is not the only language. It is a big world where other languages are only spoken.

May I translate (& publish) poems by a known poet, from a foreign language...

...into English? Or I need FIRST of all their approval to do this?
The worst end, it may be to spend my time doing that, without having their final acceptance for my work, I suppose.

The idea is to translate into English the poems I love and to cooperate with a skilled English writer/poet in view to a best result for their publication.
