t. willy has a spectacular aura about
can you help me translate this and develop a spanish accent?

I just got cast in FAME the musical as Jose Vagas who is Hispanic and lives in the Bronx. I'm working on character development and I really need help on the accent because I've never been around that many Spanish people. Also I have a line that needs translating- Tu no estas bien. Que to pasa? [Except with more punctuation marks I don't know how to type] I tryed an online translator but it didn't make any sense. Explanation on pronunciation would be a big help too because I can always fake it. If you can help with any or all of these questions I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
thank you so much Liberty! That makes alot more sense in the context of the script. I'm planning on speaking with our Spanish teacher about the accent because obviously I can only learn it from practice and personal experience. Watching teh movie is a huge no no for me though. I don't want it to influence my performance or interpretation of the character.

Spanish is a very phonetic language, so you can read them right on, but not using the English rules. You would stress the word where the accents are.

You would need to change your English accent, and I doubt that you would be able to do that only by consulting Yahoo! answers. If you can find the original film you could watch it over and over again and then practice.
