Matt has a spectacular aura about
Japanese speakers, please rate my Hiragana?

Please click the link. Those are done by memory. Not all of them, I know, but wanted to know how I was doing so far. I have a teach yourself Japanese book, and its difficult to track progress with a book. Please say how I could improve my hiragana if I need to. Please also state how good your Japanese is I did this post before, but didn't know what to improve on much. Please say what is wrong, and rate my hiragana overall out of 10 and give a reason why. Thanks Link is below:

needs some work. your "SUE" curl should be a little higher.
the key needs to look a little bigger on the double cross and the slash should be a little smaller. try to make things slightley straightier on the top line. one more thing. pull the stokes in a bit more

other than that i can read it fine. so i give the rating of 6.

You SO need to practice your Hiragana.
incorrect size, incorrect order of strokes...
It can be understood but it looks written by a preeschool kid learning to write it.

what happened to your 'o', 'ko', 'so', 'to', 'no'???
all the 'o' sounding characters are not there!
and you should continue practising the rest of the hiragana characters.
your handwriting is fine but i would rate you maybe 3 or 4 because you didn't complete the whole chart.

i used to study Japanese for 2years+ but I stopped due to my busy schedule. i'm slightly past JLPT3 level.
i remembered that we were required to know how to write all the characters by the 2nd lesson when i started learning!

learning how to write them well is the first step, just like how you learn how to write ABCs when you were little.

try this website, i think it's pretty good for people who learn Japanese on their own:
full hiragana chart: http://japanese.about.com/blhiragana.htm
and then click on the link 'next lesson' right below the chart, and this page will appear:
http://japanese.about.com/blhiraganalesson.htm

my suggestion for you is to print these 'mini lessons' out and practise writing with them.

gambatte ne! ^_^
