| What would be the disadvantages of having Spanish as the second official language... ...of the USA? Besides all the? people who can't learn a second language, their children would benefit from a much broader world. Why are people so against making the US bilingual? Aren't the benefits of bilingualism greater than the percieved strains on society (which I have to admit I don't actually see)? It seems to me that we have the opportunity to make our children much more competitve in a global economy by admitting we are a bilingual country. Please, insults are the last resort of a weak mind, I hope we can keep this civil.      |
