why are there so few japanese immigrants in america?

there is only 1 full blooded japanese in my school and one half blooded japanese(he is half american), what happened to all the children of the japanese people that were put in internment camps during world war II, did they just all dissapear or have no children, it is a puzzling matter
yes japanese are smart people, but there isd proof that there were japanese here during world war II, they sent them to live in internment camps which was sad
well im from minnesota, but when I do go to california, the only orientals I see are chinese and vietnamese, but no japanese.but when my mom worked in california during the 80s the CEO of her company was a japanese man named Guy Kawasaki, I think japanese were more common then but I was not alive then so I am guessing based on what my mom said and from information
