| If our military wasn't strong enough to fight off the British would you have
wanted the French.......? to stick around until we beefed up? Or would you have wanted them to abandon us in our weakness? Understand this is a hypothetical.      |

You need to give more info. I know it's a hypothetical question, but there must be some relevance to your Q. You need to read up on the French and their involvement in combat before you use them in the same sentence as the British!. And please don't ever compare the British to the French! |
