what is an "intelligent" question to ask a Japanese exchange student?

I have a friend from Japan and she just came. What good questions should i ask her?
I want to know more of her culture.

ask her to tell you about her country's religions and beliefs..and myths. if she's anything like me she'll be stoaked!! i love telling people about other religions and mythos!
