| A question for native Japanese people or people who speak fluent Japanese?
Now, me and my friend are having a small argument. I had said "Mattaku!" which I swear is translated to something along the lines of "Honestly!" or "Sheesh!" However, he argues that "Mattaku" means "quite right" when I know that "Mattaku sono toori" means "quite right". Am I correct or is he? Pertaining to what Askawow 47 said, in this situation, he wanted me to do something that I didn't want to, and since I had heard that "mattaku" means something along the lines of "sheesh!", that's the way I used it. |
