| Slut and whore in foreign languages?
In english, the words "slut" and "whore" have similar but different meanings: one who had lots of sex with multiple partners for pleasure is a "slut", while one who has lots of sex with multiple partners for money is a "whore". I was wondering if foreign languages have similar-but-different words for slut/whore? I'm especially interested in French, German, Italian or Russian, and I would prefer if you could explain how closely they translate (not just type in "slut" into a software translator). Thanks.
