How many languages are there? Christians must sell their religion all over the world and will not be satisfied until everyone buys it.
The act of translation has mostly been accomplished by scholars, but most of the accepted bible was translated from Greek and Aramaic languages.

For a Bible to be translated into another language, it actually has to go before a panel and that panel chooses whether or not is may be translated. When it is approved, only a certain group may translate it. It has been translated into many languages: Latin, Greek, English, French, Spanish, Russian, and so on.
