Years of languages required for college?

I am currently a sophmore in high school...... I took a full year of spanish 7th grade, 8th grade, 9th grade, and now i dropped my spanish 3 class in 10th grade this year....... do colleges(like uconn or other state colleges etc.) require 2 or 3 years of a language? Do my 2 years of spanish in 7th and 8th grade count?? Thanks.
