I'm curious...what does Spanish sound like to you?

This is my mother language, and I would like to know how it sounds to non-Spanish speakers ears.

it sounds way to fast for me to comprehend, sometimes if i dont listen close enough to find out what people are saying it sounds like gibberish, but for the most part i can understand it but i cannot speak it

In my ears Spanish sounds like Flamenco, a language with rhythm. I speak Spanish and have lived and worked in your country. I just love Spain and the Spanish language.

I lived in Latin America for some time. Even after 4 years of Spanish in school, the native speakers sounded like hyperactive children who forgot to take their Ritalin. It sounded less enunciated than other languages. And the small range of vowel sounds combined with the great speed made it sound entirely the same in every paragraph spoken. There are also more "s" sounds per sentence.
