Spanish and Japanese?

Does any one have any good studying tips on studying the two languages? I have been studying spanish for almost 3 years, but I need some tips with Japanese. Is it possible for me to become fluent in these two languages at the same time in let's say 5 years?

A good thing to do is memorize the hiragana and katakana charts by row. Like the o, a, etc. row. (ma, ha, sa, mo, ho, to)
Another thing is to try and remember small phrases at first and to study for at least an hour a day. Practice your speech on it extensively and things like that. Writing it down repeatitively in a notebook also helps.
