| Is it legal in New Jersey to drink alcohol when your parents are around and with their permission? Is it legal in New Jersey to drink alcohol when your parents are around and with their permission? Let's say you're 17...i'm not...can you if your parents say yes and they're around?      |

| No. Your parents will actually be charged with delinquincy of a minor, get majorly fined, possibly go to jail, and probably loose custody of the minor. |
