| Using laws of cosine when only 2 sides are given?
Hi there, I'm wondering how one would go about solving a problem using the laws of sine when only 2 sides are given with 1 angle, instead of the usual 3 sides. For example, an example problem from my book is A=50 degrees, b=15, c=30. The problems are quite easy with 3 sides, but I'm uncertain about 2 sides and an angle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
