| Help with chem, rates and laws? The rate constant = 5 x 10 ^5 Forward Rate = 300 s ^-1 Reverse Rate = 4.8 x 10 ^-3 s^-1 A catalyst increases the forward rate by 1 x 10 ^5 s^-1 What is the new value of the reverse rate after adding the catalyst? I know that a catalyst will change the forward and reverse rate constants by exactly the same factor. |
