our legal system...is it a joke or do people just abuse it?

It seems a woman can make a claim against a man without any evidence and he can get in trouble and have to go to court and pay fines, etc. I don't get how this is possible; it seems the courts favor women. Yes women sometimes need the protection but I know many women abuse this and I don't think that's right...
