Need help ASAP!! Laws that affect air travel?

Friend had her seat given away to a stand by passenger even though she was at the airport 90 minutes before flight - what is the Law - need help ASAP!!

Ever watch the South Park episode about "It" and the airlines? People get screwed. The airlines are pretty free in what they do and how they conduct business. It's unfortunate, and unfair, but I don't think the law can do anything for your friend. Your friend should ask for special treatment and complain though (though calmly and rationally). People with anger issues have been known to be put on a "do not fly" list..

I dont there is really a law to deal with that.. It might have to do with that airlines policy.
