| US Legal Permanent Resident/Military Dependent in Germany, Need Schengen Visa?
Hi All, My mother is a US Permanent Resident and was recently Command Sponsored to live with us here in Germany. She has a DOD Military Dependent ID and SOFA card which she used to enter Germany. We are thinking of taking her to EU countries, but I'm not sure if we should get her a Schengen visa. I have coworkers who traveled to Austria and Italy WITHOUT Passports and they did fine. We went to France twice and Luxembourg before Mom got here and we were never asked for our Passports but we brought it with us anyway. I wanted to take the family to Netherlands this Spring, but I'm not sure how and what to do with Mom having a non-US Passport. Please help, advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance!      |
