| Texas Child Support Laws.? I have two questions concerning Child Support in Texas. 1. When the mother of my fiancee's other child filed for CS it was taken to court in April of 2007. I was living in mexico at the time therefore he did not know that i was pregnant and having his child. When i arrived back in the states in June of 2007, my child was born. We petitioned for a "review" in sept. of 2007 and we still haven't heard an answer. any thoughts on what can we do to reduce the CS or to speed the process withought having to get a lawyer?? 2. If one day for whatever reason my soon to husband has to leave the country, and i marry, will i have to be responsible to pay the child support to his daughter? or whom would have to be responsible?      |
