MARIJUANA! Do you think marijuana should be legal like alcohol?

I come from a family of alcoholics & so does my husband. I've seen the destruction alcoholism can do to a person & the whole family AND including society. When my husband smoked pot he was a calmer and easier person to get along than when drinking. I know pot is illegal but I would prefer him smoking than to drink alcohol. Do you believe in the use of marijuana for medicinal purpose? I know you sin because it is illegal but do sin morally also?

Let me get this straight. You're asking is marijuana should be legal because alcohol is worse? Sounds like the better question ihere is why is alcohol not illegal too?

Yes, my belief that alchol is the most potent drug out there, so many lives are ruined, people killed famlies destroyed. but you never hear something of someone who just someked a joint, saying hey lets go beat some ass, or lets go out and drive and risk everbody's lives, or dying from smoking to much weed, or black outs on weed, might take care of some of the anger in this country not to mention the benefits to the goverment and the people of being able to tax this.

i think they should make it legal. i don't use it anymore. however i don't think that making it legal will cause more people to use it.

Every individual should have the freedom to do anything that doesn't physically harm another person. There should only be laws that regulate how someone physically or financially harms another human.

I have mixed emotions about legalizing marijuana. I grew up in a small town in the 30s and 40s when drugs were not so popular; thus I have no experience with its effects on people in general. I have heard of its harmful effects just as I have heard of the harmful effects of alcohol.

I like beer and suffer from one of its harmful effects. When I look down I cannot see my feet as well as my...we won't go there.

I don't think legalizing pot would lead to much harm in general if it is controlled properly. Perhaps if pot were legalized I would not have a pot and would be more accurate in the men's room.

Prohibition obviously isn't working.

Legalize them all, tax them and use the tax ££$$ to clean up the mess drugs create.
