| What is the feminist perspective on short term prostitution being illegal
but long-term prostitution legal? Basically all interaction between men and women is prostitution. The woman exchanges sex for money, either directly or in the form of goods and services (house, car, flowers, movie, dinner, diamond ring). From a feminist perspective should all forms of prostitution (hiring a streetwalker, dating, marriage, alimony) be subject to the same legal restraint (or lack of restraint)? Or do feminists like other women attempt to draw a false distinction between short-term and long-term prostitution? |
