Security clearance: Marine Corps?

Is anyone Eligible for a security clearance in the Marines, regardless of MOS? / Required? Would someone in combat arms, artillery, ever need a security clearance?

YES every branch that falls under the Department of Defense must pass the SECRET Security Clearance

Your position has to warrant the need for a clearance..

In combat arms radio operators will posses a secret clearance because they handle cryptographic radio equipment and frequency sheets which are classified..

Other people in combat arms also have clearances but the majority do not need one.
