A lot of people would lie to get into the Marine Corp. It is not a good idea since there is a lot of screening process to go through. 9 out of 10 it would be discovered if someone lied. Why would someone put them self and others at risk? If someone advising you too lie it becomes a moral decision on you would have too make.

Although it is aganst the law people do it. I dont feel it is ok because you can put others at risk. For example what if an epileptic person has a siezure in combat.

Just for future reference the M in Marine Corps should be capitalized.

Its hard to lie about either. They give you a medical exam that pretty much covers all bases and can look you up in insurance/health records in national insurance data banks.
They check your background, so any indiscretions that resulted in an arrest will show.

While people may lie, they are usually caught and then rejected. The army then gladly takes them, LOL.

People lie to get into every branch of the Armed Forces.

Sometimes, it's because of stupid rules, that don't matter much past the enlistment stage.

Sometimes, it's much more serious, and if it's criminal history, it is usually found out about. Medical history falsehoods can get you killed, or someone else killed.

But yes, of course they lie.

It depends on what it is about if it's "ok" or not.

For instance, if you smoked pot at age 15 ONE time, does the military really need to know about that? No. It has no bearing on you enlisting 3 or 4 years after that, but it will open a whole can of worms, and possibly disqualify you for some things...

It's never right to lie, however. Just be prepared for the consequences of the truth.
