tricare. help!? Hi. my husband joined the marines and i cant get any information out of his recruiter. i know you can get benifits while he is in boot camp. i need them. all i can get out if his recruiter is "i dont know, ive never prossesed a married couple before. " someone please help!

he may have told the recruiter that he wasn't married. But it does take a while to process it through once he's in boot camp.

you will not get any of these benefits til after he graduates from basic training. If you go to the graduation they will have meetings for the spouses and there you will be issued your ID card and be signed up for all the benefits. You will receive his pay while he is in basic but nothing else til he graduates.

You should get a packet that will be sent to you. If he just left for basic it might take a week or so. He is probably at reception right now getting all the paperwork taken care of.
