You can't do anything about it so why stress. Just enjoy your life. He is still there. I would email mine, video cam, letters, care packages but you can't stress over it. Its his job..Let him to his job. If you have faith and relax..everything will be fine!

My husband is prior Navy and Army, and is currently a civilian over seas and I do alot while he is away.

I like to volunteer for childrens hospitals, work with animals and watch alot of movies. I clean like there is no tomorrow too. And one of my favs is to write him long sexy letters. This assures him that I still think of him in that way, it boosts his ego and makes him feel secure that you are still his wife.

Being down range is a difficult thing, assurance is a definate must. It is hard being away from family. Lots of support helps him live out there and it should make you happy that he is happy. Chatting online with him is something else that passes time and gives you something to look forward to for all the days to come.

Good luck from a soldier diwn range!
