what is boarder patrol like?i already passed the test. but still unsure.?

im in the marines and will be getting out here in the next couple of months. anyways last week i took the boarder patrol test along with other people and only 1/3rd passed it.anyways i just want to know what its really like!!im 23 with a wife and a baby and i just want to know what im getting into.what is an average day, how many hours do you work a day? bein the rookie etc? just dont want it to be like the marines with stupid mind games and stuff.im originally from pa but im station in ca, and i was told there are bases in both the north and south , but in order to get station in the north you first have to do a year tour in the south to get experience etc. what are the duty stations in the north like? any information no matter how small you thing it is please fill me in on it so i can make my mind up.either write here or send me an e-mail at d_gonzalez1985@hotmail.com thank you in advance.
