Is it hard going into the Air Force as an officer?

I am in the process of enlisting into the Air Force, but I have a 4 year degree and almost completed a masters. I was told that my degree in Health Information Management isnt something that could get me in as an officer. Weird but oh well..my masters is going to be in Healthcare Informatics if I ever finish it..The reason being is because my GPA when I graduated was a 2.9..any input?

I'd try talking with the Army Healthcare Recruiters first about becoming an AMEDD officer (Army Medical Department) as a 70B....very competitive annual board, but you never know until you try...

That's a complete lie... ANY 4-year degree will get you in. That's what a lot of people do, just get into the military with a degree. Besides, a lot of degrees don't have anything to do with what you do. I have a cousin whose an infantry officer, with a degree in child development. Explain to me how that applies. And getting in as an officer will be the hardest of all the branches, but certainly not impossible. Good luck!
