what is the average height/weight of a Navy Seal or Special forces operator?

Does height and weight affect how easily one will become a seal or green beret. I am 6 ft 3 and 215lbs. Also average height and weight and requirements for being a pilot?

Although there isn't really a set standard for SOF candidates, for SEALs I know that its a bit easier for the wiry less-muscular guys to get through the training then the ripped studs because that just means more weight for them to have to carry. They don't focus on muscle mass but more on endurance and stamina so it'd be smart to lose as much as you can in a healthy manner, but it's by no means impossible for someone of your build to try out, just look at Luttrell, he's about the same size as you and he made it. Couple years back they ran a report on BUD/S and instructors said an ideal BUD/S candidate would be around 5'8 and be around 175lbs. Good luck with whichever route you choose.
