active duty air force: will they pay for any kind of schooling or does it have to...

...involve your job they assign im not sure what my job will be yet and i want to go to school for pastry chef in my off duty time

you can use TA for anything you like from an accredited school, it's just whether or not you can actually GO while Active duty. you will not be allowed to during training.

The GI Bill you can use after serving three years.

If you have time, you will be able to go to school for basically free. The AF has an amazing tuition assistance program. I belive that they will pay for up to $4500 a year. All you need to do is buy books. This includes sit down classrooms that you can attend on base from places like the University of Maryland, and also online forums such as the University of Phoenix.

I am joining the Air force and they will pay for anything you go to school for provided you've served the minimum time in the military.
