Money for College from Air Force?

I'm trying to be a pilot so I need to go to college but right now I need info because I'm for sure joining the Air Force. I also got a soccer coach talkin to me at the Air FOrce Academy but I have a kid so it means I can't go there with a dependent. So I have some questions to ask on how to get money for college.
1. What is the G.I. Bill and how does it work for the Air Force?
2. What are other ways I could get money for the Air Force? I know of the scholarship from AFROTC.com but I really don't think I can win one.
3. I really need like a bonus or something up front when I join to be able to pay for housing and food for my girlfriend and son . So how would I go about doing that? Would I be able to go to basic training to receive the signing bonus during the summer after my senior in high school year? Or when I sign up for Air Force ROTC somehow would I get a bonus?

Do several google searches with key word of each topic you seek an answer for. I heard that there are technicalities concerning bonuses. I think one is early injury discharge that would cause the bonus to be pro-rated or reduced to time served. But other issues I do not remember. They have the attorneys, we do not.
