3 months till navy (bootcamp). Need tips on curing neurosis?

The past four years of my life have been hell. My neurosis was caused by the amount of stress I was put through during that time.

The first stressor was trying to find a career after high school.(I finished an associates degree in mechanical engineering tech.)

The second was that I surrounded myself with friends that were neurotics( Including a girlfriend who was the queen of neurosis and constantly blamed me for problems in the relationship)

Thirdly I took a job as a drafter where most my co-workers were on depression medication.

The first step I took was to quit my job to have some alone time and relax.

The next step is to join the seabees so I can learn how to do more guy stuff and learn better social skills.

I am slowly but surely learning how to be more relaxed during my 3 month "vacation". I am having lots of success

I am looking for tips and activities to help me become a more relaxed person so I won't be so uptight while im in the navy.

the navy will be stressful at first but after the initial training it gets alot easier also the navy is the branch of the military that gives you the most leadway there wil be times where you swear all you do is party but times where all you do is bust your ass but after awhile you'll love it as far as the stress i would say do something physical jog every morning or excercise when the stress is gettin to you it works wonders for me
\
also you can try meditation but i have no clue on its effectiveness

If the Navy wants you to have a neurosis, they'll issue you one.
