What do Marines do exactly?

what are all the branches that you can join? and what does each include? whats the difference between the Navy and the Marines? do they all shoot at people? etc. hahaha

The Marines are a Land, Air and Sea force used to a quick and rapid response around the world. The President of the United States can move the Marines anywhere in the world without an act of Congress (which is why the Marines are called the Presidents own). They have 2 special forces Recon and Force Recon. The Marines are mostly used for humanitarian aid, and for invasion. The Army does more of the Occupying.
But Marines can do everything the Army, Navy and Airforce do because they have the same sort of equipment.

marines-go to exotic places, meet exotic people, and kill them. they basically are the first to go to war and get the information we need and the hard stuff out of the way for the other branches.
navy-stays on ships, works with the water obviously, no they dont shoot people
army-go after marines, basically aprehend the enemy, or whats left of the enemy
air force-bombers, keep everything organized, they work on planes and keep the military organized basically
coast guard- i have no idea.
