Isn't Reaganolatry STUPID? Actually, it was Bush the Elder who stationed our men in Somalia, for humanitarian reasons. But when the Somalis would not cooperate with us, Clinton figured (correctly) it was not in our national interest to address conditions in Somalia, and pulled them out rather than throw away more lives for nothing.      |
