last August, it was? a major mistake on both of our parts. We want to get divorced. Can I get an annullment? What can I do? I am currently not making much money, low paying job. We both don't have any kids, it's a pretty clean break. No kids, no property, nothing, we rent. I take what is mine, she takes what is hers. We live in Ohio. Tell me my options, please. It's over, so don't try to persuade me to try to work it out, it's done.
How much will it cost to get divorced? Give me info here if you want to get the winning points. Tell me what to do.

your divorce will be easy, alot easier than what im going thru, you should be able to print off a divorce decree online, since there are no children it will be cut and dry. good luck and look online for free legal documents and find the one that best fits your situation and make changes if needed and pay the court a filing fee and wa la, d-i-v-o-r-c-e...like i said , wish mine were so simple..

they do have divorce kits but they can get messy and confusing but getting a lawyer can get very expensive.

Just file and be done with it. Is she in agreement it is over? If this is a two sided agreement, then it is a very easy, uncontested divorce. You can even do all the paperwork yourself.Very easy. Just go to the law library, ask for the divorce decree paperwork book, run off the copies, and fill out the forms and file. She can sign and doesn't even have to go to court. It will be all finalized very soon. This saves you on lawyer fees. You only pay the court costs. Very simple. If she is not in agreement, then it might be a little trickier.

You prob can even find these forms online for free.What state do you live in? google your state uncontested divorce.

When I did my divorce, it was in 97. I bought a book called"How to do your own divorce in the state of Texas" It had all the forms in it and was 20.00. Now, technology is a little greater

My sister is going for legal seperation - she just filled out paper work and such. In like 8 months or whatever her divorce will get finalized. I'm not sure how it works, but I don't know if it costs her anything. The guy doesn't want to get divorced so she doesn't want to worry about nagging on him for his signature. She also married last september...and wanted a divorce by November :P
