I don't think this is such a ridiculous question as Dolly said. I just think it could have been asked a little better. Sometimes being so blunt makes people not see your point.

By the way, I have seen many ugly men with beautiful women. I see one couple in particular like this every single day. *smile*

I do think that it is better for a marriage when the woman is much more attractive than the man. Most men are often focused a lot MORE on appearance and women are usually MORE focused on other issues (stability, personality, finances). A man can more easily forgive a beautiful woman for her faults just as a woman can more easily look past a man's faults (bulging waistline for example) if he is kind and stable.

Yes, there are exceptions to this.
