divorced....what now??

ok heres the deal, i got divorced about 6 mnths ago and it wasn't my choice. well at the time i was starting a new job and helping take care of my granpa's farm because he is really sick. I didn't have time to date or make new friends so i wasn't worried about it. Now things are starting to slow down and i don't really know how to go about meeting new people, especially being from a really small town. Anybody that has been in this situation feel free to tell me about your experience or i would love to hear opinions from others. Thanks in advance
sorry i should have put this in here...i'm 26 with 2 kids and a really really good job so moving is pretty much out of the question

You'll have to make the effort to get outside your comfort zone and get involved with your community - go to church, volunteer for youth sports teams, help keep the place clean, stuff like that. Good luck man!

your best bet is to move into the city and familiarize yourself with the local people, try getting a part-time job at a fast food joint for a few months...you will learn ALOT of tips and No-nos from the workers that work in those places....
