car today. Is this a good idea My wife left me about a month ago we are starting to work on getting a divorce. We only have one car now and so i need one really bad. I have a good oportunity to get a good deal on a nice cheap car. I was wondering if this is a good idea seing how i am about to go through a divorce. She says she wants an uncontested divorce but thats what she says. Should I wait to get a car or will it not affect anything if we are seperated and i get it only in my name ?

I would get it but only like this I would have my name first on tittle and add a brother or sister because she can not take from them. so the title would read Your name AND brothers name. Or do vice versa but I would not just put it in your name.

Uhh- yeah get a car. What you going to be stuck because she is using the only car? Are you legally separated? If so then it should be no problem, and even if your not if you put it in your name only it shouldn't be a problem. You'll each have a car.
