| k-1 visa for a filipina divorced in hong kong?
my fiance got divorced from her philippine husband in hong kong will the us recognize that divorce for getting her a k-1 visa? our i-139f petiton has been approved by the vermont office but when hong kong embassy sent her package of forms to her something in it about going to fpu anybody know any thing at all about these matters?

As long as she has a copy of the divorce, you guys are good to go. I too married a Filipina and had to provide a copy of my divorce.
