How is is signing marriage papers any more romantic or unromantic than signing

a prenuptial agreement ?
Wrong tired, a marriage contract gets you those tax breaks, but the rest of it sets you up for divorce subjecting you to divorce laws.
Hailea pressuring a man for marriage is a symbol for a womans mistrust. She doesnt trust you to stick around and wants to be able to subject you to marriage laws for support.

I watched a TV show about China last night and a couple who were in love climbed a mountain and put a padlock on a chain rail engraved with both their names. They would then throw the key down the mountain and the only way to break the union would be for one of them to find the key to unlock it. We should give that a try much more romantic :-D

You are absolutely correct. Marriage has very little to do with romance - once reality sets in. Clearly, the women who make the 'romantic' argument when discussing prenups are those who have never been married.

Prenups are simply a financial arrangement prior to getting married. I think they are sensible and practical, and will result in less ugliness if the marriage does end up disolving.
