Mr. KnowItAll has a spectacular aura about
Legal union, partnership, or marriage?

I'm bothered. Not by the people that love each other wanting to become legal partners, but the fact they want have the same rights as husbands and wives.

Why do most gay people insist on using the word "marriage" in their right to be equal?

They are allready equal. They have the right to a marry an adult member of the opposite sex like the rest of us.

They want SPECIAL rights.

What's next? If a 50 year man wants to marry a 13 year old girl, why not? Because it's the law, right?
Well, maybe they should change that law too?

What if a woman loves her dog, should they change that law too so she can marry her dog?

If coworker askes a gay man (per say) to come over after work to help out with fixing a car or something, and he want's to let his husband know, or would that be wife know, that he's going to be late coming home, would he say "I have to call my wife?"
No, he'd say he has to call his partner.

This just bugs me.
Leave the "MARRIAGE" to heterosexuals.
ADDED:

Those are some good points of interest.
I appreciate the information and I must say I am more informed.
I did not have ALL the answers and should have done a liitle more homework.
I'm sorry if I offended some people, I did not mean to.
