tlc_2u has a spectacular aura about
Can I refuse a request for divorce in the state of Texas?

If so, how do I go about it? Can I do this without a lawyer?
This is about principals. He abandoned my family. His first wife tried to kill herself and almost succeeded. His second wife got shipped off on a bus without her son and has died since. He told me he would take care of things we needed then got the car repoed and didn't provide any help at all. My daughter ended up in a hospital for a month right after he left us....she was seriously upset. My parents (God Rest their Souls) had to take car of us as I have a chronic illness (found out right after he left us) and I cannot work a fulltime job outside the home. I do not qualify for healthcare (medicaide) or disability because my work history is too old. He did not even ry to get a divorce til now even though we have been separated for 5 years. He wasnts out of this without any strings just like the other marriages. His wives all uffered extreme emotional abuse.
And how am I suppose to know what he has now? He had next to nothing back then. My father was willing to put him in his own business twice. He was dying and I was more than willing to be there for him. My dad went loaned him plenty of money at one point in time....Never repaid. My children feel that I deserve his life insurance at the very least. I don't know what I feel anymore.....extremely numb from this all.
