Why Would A Woman Jeopardize Her Marriage to Talk to Her Ex-Boyfriend?

I know a woman who married a much older guy about 9 months ago. He is rich and has given her everything she ever wanted. She's only in her mid-'20's. Pretty much ever since she got engaged to her husband, she started calling and E-Mailing her ex-boyfriend, who is also much older than her. Nothing physical, no secret meetings or anything like that. But she has told the ex BF she loves him. How do I know this? The ex BF told me. The husband doesn't know she is talking to the ex BF and, in fact, would get really upset if he found out because he never liked the ex BF. If the wife really loved her husband and didn't want to him to find out or upset him, why still contact the ex BF? Is it that she really doesn't love her husband like she tells everyone or is there something else going on. I'm puzzled ....
