| Divorce-HELP!? sticky divorce situation? My husband packed up and left myself and our three year old daughter on 2/28 after we decided we would divorce. He has seen her once since then for about two minutes ( long enough to ask me for money). He does not call, and refuses to tell me where he is staying. (The decision to divorce was not out of a heated argument or any drama. We just looked at each other and realized there was no more love.) We are both jobless ( I am a full time nursing student) and he took the only car. I have a couple of questions: 1.Should I wait to file my petition for dissolution until after he has an apt. and a job? 2.If our daughter is with me, is she technically abandoned? 3. If she is abandoned, how long does he have to be MIA? 4. Would it be worth it to get emergency custody? How is he supposed to be served if I can't find him???      |
