Boyfriend and marriage... its killing me!!?

Ok, i have been with my boyfriend for 7 months now. Because i am not from here, inorder to stay in the same city, i quit the job and found the new one in the same city. He wanted me to but he never insisted i do. He says that i should what i think is best for me. That comes with age i guess. He is older than i am.
So, that all done i quit my job and found another one to stay in the same city. He didnt ask me to move in with him. I am ok with that but he doesnt talk about future at all. Sometimes i feel i want to settle down and i wish he would say something about getting married or so. Not now, but atleast talk about it and plan.
Some days it think of it and get depressed. I asked him once and he says he doesnt think about future as much and he wants to be with me even after 2 yrs or more.
What should i do? What should i talk to him about?

you have only been with him for 7 months so i would wait a little more maybe he doesn't want to rush things and marriage is a pretty big step that scares most of men
