| Does the term "through thick and thin" still applies in today's marriages?
I'm asking this because of all the question I see on the site.."She gained weight, I'm not attracted to her, should i leave the marriage", " He's away too much, so i have now a lover", "she doesnt satisfy me anymore, so i cheated"...I personally think that the whole through thick or thin line should be taken out of marriage vows because it jsut doesnt apply anymore...Take the Chavo case, He wasnted out because "he's human and needed to continue with his life"...or the other day a man wakes up after being in a coma for 5 years just to find out that his wife had divorced him and now remarried with kids [the guy killed himself afterwards]. What do you guys think? should or shouldnt the "through sickness and in health, through thivk or thin, richer or poorer" be taken out of wedding vows?
People geting divorce has nothing to do with it, it's the people in the marraige that need to work their butts off...
