Do most protestant Christian denominations promote early marriage?

Do most protestant Christian denominations promote early marriage?

The one my mom belongs to, and I occasionally get dragged along to sometimes, certainly does.

People at the church seem a little worried and/or disturbed that, at age 26, I'm not married and have no real desire to get married.
Some are also a little worried that I'm not in any kind of relationship - not dating (of any kind), not girlfriends, nothing.

Is this typical of most protestant Christian denominations?
I didn't mean that these people point to certain parts of the scripture, I just meant this sort of unspoken assumption that I'd be married, or something by now.
